About Our Products
Who creates the artwork?
Every design starts as an original watercolor painting by Michigan artist Alla Dickson. We scan each painting at high resolution and print it onto our home goods, so you get real brushwork, not AI or stock art. Read more in Our Story.
Where are you located?
Our studio is in Zeeland, Michigan. You can also find our products at shops around West Michigan. See Where to Find Us.
Can I visit your studio?
Yes! Studio visits are by appointment. Come browse in person, see Alla's original paintings, or pick up an order. Schedule a studio visit.
Will the colors fade when I wash them?
No. Our products are made to be used and washed, and they keep their color.
Swedish Dishcloths
What is a Swedish dishcloth made of?
70% cellulose (a wood-derived material) and 30% cotton. They are reusable and compostable, a natural alternative to paper towels and sponges.
How do I care for my dishcloth?
- After use, rinse and hang to dry.
- Machine washable or top rack of the dishwasher. Air dry only.
- To sanitize, microwave when damp or boil briefly.
How long does a dishcloth last?
About 4 to 6 months with regular use. When it is worn out, you can compost it in garden soil.
Orders and Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, on orders over $50.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders ship from our studio in Zeeland, Michigan within 1 to 3 business days. You will get an email with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your order. If something isn't right, you can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery.
- To start a return, email alladicksonart@gmail.com with your order number and the item you are returning.
- Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless your item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item.
- Once we receive your return, we will refund your original payment method.
- Custom and personalized orders are final sale.
Gifting
Can I add a handwritten note?
Yes, a handwritten custom note is available on our gift boxes.
What if an item in a gift box sells out?
We may substitute a similar item, and we will always check with you first.

Can my shop carry your products?
